I watched it twice in a row. The second time I didn't speak for ten minutes after. 🏜️
Some places stay with you forever.
A meditative feature about red dunes, ghost towns, and the kind of silence you can only find by driving an additional six hours past where most people would stop. Variety calls it 'patient.' Variety in this case is one friend with a Letterboxd account. Filmed at golden hour, mostly because every hour in Namibia is, evidently, golden hour.

The kind of film you describe to people incorrectly for years afterward.
Half a star off for the dust subplot, which is admittedly unavoidable.
